BIOGRAPHY

Tyler Peacock is a business and employment litigator who represents clients in complex disputes in state and federal courts, including the North Carolina Business Court. His practice includes matters involving ownership and control of closely held companies, enforcement of restrictive covenants, protection of trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of contract, and employment-related claims.

Tyler is known for delivering clear, strategic counsel tailored to his clients’ business objectives. His approach emphasizes practical, solutions-oriented problem-solving. He works closely with clients to assess risk, identify leverage points, and develop litigation strategies designed to achieve efficient and favorable outcomes—whether through negotiated resolutions, dispositive motions, or trial.

Tyler also advises clients on proactive measures to mitigate risk and reduce the likelihood of future litigation. When conflicts arise, he advocates decisively to protect his clients’ interests and secure results that are both effective and commercially sound.

Tyler has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by North Carolina Super Lawyers Magazine (2019-2026) and has been named to Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” (2021, 2026) and The Best Lawyers in America (2026).

Tyler earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. While at Michigan, he was a four-year member of the Michigan Marching Band and the Michigan Hockey Band.

Tyler and his wife, Emily, have two children and a Golden Retriever, Blue.
